Acquisitions
Acquisitions are the bread-and-butter of a museum. In order to be useful they must be documented. This includes collecting information about the donor and documenting provenance - who previously owned the item(s). Items must be identified, weighed, tagging with an accession number, photographed, etc.
All this information must be entered into an on-line database which will make this information available to the public through the website.
If you are interested in working with the museum as the acquisitions manager or volunteer, pleasecontact us. It takes lots of hands to keep the museum working.
