Education Projects
The whole point of building a museum is education. The Education Projects group will pursue relationships with educators and school districts, particularly those in Arlington, Texas. In particular, this group will direct special projects intended to develop educational materials related to the museum's artifacts.
The current projects involve:
- Edge punched cards which can be used to teach many topics such as information storage and retrieval, logic, binary numbers, etc., and can be made inexpensively.
- Lecture materials on various topics such as the history of computing, the power of smartphones, etc.
If you are interested in working with the museum in these or other education related activities, pleasecontact us. It takes lots of hands to keep the museum working.
