Our "Basic Four" terminal -
We bought this on eBay some time ago and were not sure what it was. We ran across it again lately, opened it up and took some pictures. We now know that it is just a terminal, but what a jewel. The tag says it is a model 7400, but that is the Basic Four designation. It is actually made by Informer. They later made a different model called a 207 that is in a plastic case, and they are fairly common. But this wooden case model is fairly rare.
Basic Four Corporation sold a minicomputer system that supported a few ASCII terminals like this one. They apparently rebranded this terminal as their own.
